Blogs
The following blogs indicate the coLARGE thinking on a number of diverse topics, such as design, learning/education, innovation, cities and general thoughts on life in the 21st Century.
RenAIssance 2.0 - Part 1
This new series of blog posts are focused on how the technology of the Age of Intelligence is already changing the ways in which we work and what that could mean for our society. This first part looks at the possible impact on the world of work and how we might need to transform our current approaches to learning and working to stay relevant. Many new skills and abilities will be needed but which will be the right ones? In this post I argue that we may not need to focus on technical skills per se but instead focus on meta-skills. These meta-skills have the potential to transform our lives beyond the world of work and could in turn help drive a renewed social, cultural and environmental renaissance in society.
Innovation for All…
Academia, business, and communities shouldn’t exist in silos, they are intrinsically and deeply connected. By creating meaningful collaboration between these aspects, we can unlock opportunities for collective innovation. Our approach empowers people to shape their own futures building resilient ecosystems where ideas, relationships, and growth are sustained and shared. I explore this concept further in my latest blog on what I call the ABC model.
Designing for Real Life
At coLARGE, we believe that Connection, Learning, and Working are deeply interconnected. By creating meaningful collaboration between communities, academia, and business, we unlock new opportunities for collective innovation. Our approach empowers people to shape their own futures building resilient ecosystems where ideas, relationships, and growth are sustained and shared. We explore this concept further in our latest blog.
Cities Beyond Buildings
Cities are more than concrete and commerce, they are living, breathing ecosystems shaped by people. To truly thrive in a changing world, we must evolve beyond buildings and see cities as collective platforms where citizens shape their futures. By putting people first: their wellbeing, stories, and ambitions, we can grow urban environments that are inclusive, dynamic, and deeply human. Cities don’t just need to be built, they need to be grown, with care, collaboration, and courage.
